bucciarelli&miglio "Colour's musicians"
by Egle Migliardi
"Music is the most universal art: the same melody can touch the heart of our enemies. The longing song of a prisoner in the night can, for an instant, pull down any wall. Bucciarelli and Miglio have chosen the original way of a "musical painting" full of harmonies and assonances which communi-cate each other: the whole is "maestoso con moto".
"Suspended time" is a symbolic title of their work: three oriental red fish (tribute to Hiroshige) spread vibrant colour in an upward line and they seem to stop the fleeting moment of Beauty.
The sea is represented under many titles. The very delicate "Fenêtres au bord de la mer", "Sails on the horizon", "Vent de la mer": the wish of infinite is evident.
Leonardo wrote "Water, the restless element". He too refused the barriers between Art and Science: he explored everything and anticipated times. The research on drawing and colour is very careful for Fiorenza and Dino who meet at "Scuola Libera del Nudo" in the Arts Academy in Brera, Milan.
The nudes of oriental women, sometimes sensual and sometimes chaste, show magically refined tones. The dark amber of skin is attuned with orange lighting which seem to drops of water.
The grace of very tender flesh coloured pink seem to grave in filigree, winding flowered harmonies. An old haiku says: "To admire the cherries in bloom / comes with his mother / the blind child."
Fiorenza and Dino's art lets us smell the scent of exotic flowers, hear the music of the drops of wa-ter sliding from Cerere's hands while drinking and returns a virginal freshness to our eyes.
Into the suspended time. ."
bucciarelli&miglio "Soul's archeologists"
by Adriano Icardi
"These painters' work, open and sensitive to pictural art as well as to poetry and music, recover the identity of an uncertain and mysterious past.
Extremely delicate images and antic frescos bleached by the centuries, they are enriched by plaster reliefs. The main characters of many stories create suggestive oniric scenes as well as the harmonic colour's effects. Sensations, thoughts, fears, instants of infinite find expression in a continuous tur-moil of geometric or winding signs and then they emerge freely from the indefinite to touch that surface that gives them back their old identity. The refined filigrees composing the pictures induce to a continuous and meticulous research in the forms and figures half hidden in the same picture and awake our surprise every time we discover a new outline, form or creature. Slowly we find the par-ticular out, little by little, as in a sort of magnetic magic.
As in an archaeological excavation the ancient myths, the epic achievements but also the common and anonymous lives emerge slowly, without their protagonists. In a world where art is more easily shouted, the bright dreams and the whispered creations of these two soul's archaeologists let us immerse and sound in the mysterious depth of men and things."
bucciarelli&miglio "…by free sails"
by Isabel Lage Diaz
"Pushed by the wind of the longing to know in a travel to discover the wisdom of the past and the beauty of the present. Delicate shapes of infinite chromatism with monochromes of bodies, seas and oniric gardens lead to a world where myth and reality merge. Every work recalls a story, an age, a universe or becomes it. The pictures are like books which tell a legend, the metaphors and the reality merge and become the origin of a refined art. Apart from the mass, Bucciarelli and Miglio do not want to astonish by the special effects of a shouted art but they propose classic and new themes without the obsession of the new or the trademark at any rate. The "free sails" is a recurring theme for these two artists who explore the world and show its deeper soul. They are not the leaders of a new and improbable artistic movement but sensitive painters who create original and timeless works. These soul's archaeologists remind us it is absolutely necessary to go towards the new with love and aworeness because the past is the bank of our culture and civilization."
